CULTURAL ACTIVITIES AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

1977 Publisher. Portfolio. “Six Mayor Art Works from Mexican Muralist Raul Anguiano.

1983 Co-publisher with Kyron Art Workshop, Mexico. Six Original Lithographs from Mexican Muralist Raúl Anguiano, Maximino Javier and Mario Martín del Campo.

1985-1995 Co-founder and Gallery Director of Grupo Arte Contemporáneo Gallery, México City.

1987 Exhibition at The Chicago Art Fair in conjunction with Kyron, Mexico and Klein Gallery, Chicago, Ill.

1988 Exhibition at The FIAC Art Fair, Paris France. A selection of the best works on Paper from Mexican Modern and Contemporary artists with Grupo Arte Contemporáneo Gallery of Mexico.

1990 Co-publisher of “Rubén Figueroa” Book and Photographs Portfolio of Movie Director and Producer, Rubén Figueroa.

1990-1991 Curator of the Show “Contemporary Mexican Masters”, Parallel Event to the Show “Mexico Thirty Centuries of Splendor “, presented at the Jansen Pérez Gallery in San Antonio Texas and Los Angeles California.

1991 Curator of the International Show “Mexico, Presence of Women, a Show of Mexican Contemporary Art,” Organized and sponsored by the Mexican Minister of Foreign Affairs and presented in: Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and San Francisco California.

1991 Curator and sponsor of the Monumental Project “El Pueblo Del Sol”, Monumental Sculpture Installation by Gilberto Aceves Navarro, presented and exhibited by Jansen Perez Gallery and Grupo Arte Contemporáneo during one month at the Grand Avenue in Los Angeles California with a following reception at the Museum of Modern Art. This project consisted of 320 monumental wood and iron sculptures, three meters long and has been permanently located at Chapultepec Avenue, Mexico City. Installation in México City sponsored by the Mexican Government.

1992 Co-curator of the Major Retrospective Exhibition from Mexican Muralist Raul Anguiano held at the National Palace of Fine Arts, Mexico City.

1992 Co-publisher of the Book “Raúl Anguiano” Life and Work, Publisher and co-sponsor with Casa de Jalisco en México and Grupo Arte Contemporáneo Gallery, México City.

1987-1992 Co-curator in conjunction with Galeria Misrachi of the Six Annual Fine Art Shows organized by the Minister of Commerce, Mexico City.

1992-1997 Director for Cultural Affairs and Director of Non Profit Art Gallery Alfredo A. Boulos. The Lebanese Center, México City

1992 Presentation of the book “En el Verano la Tierra” by writer Carlos Martinez Assad, with the participation of writers Héctor Azar, Sara Sefchovich, Alberto Ruy Sanchez and Ignacio Solares. México City.

1995 Presentation of the book “Remembrances” by Raúl Anguiano wrote by Jorge Toribio, National University of Mexico, México City.

1985-1996 Publisher of the Mexican Masters Portfolio: Raúl Anguiano, Olga Costa, José Chávez Morado, Gunther Gerzso and Alfredo Zalce.

1996-1997 Coordinator of the Cultural Section “Sale la Foto” a special Supplement from the Mexican Newspaper Reforma, México City.

1996 Retrospective Exhibition “Raúl Anguiano” held in the City of Los Angeles California with works on loan from Reyna Henaine collection.

1997 Lecturer at the National Homage for Raúl Anguiano held at La Casa de la Cultura Jaime Sabines, México City.

1997 Coordinator of the First and Second Annual Fine Art Auction at the Lebanese Cultural Center.

One day show at the Residence of art collector Patricia Beeck: 3 Stone Gate Lane, Harrison NY, October 17, 1998.
Curator: Reyna Henaine. The show was reviewed by The Westchester Arts Council Publication. The artwork exhibited came from Patricia Beeck and Reyna Henaine collections.
From this show, the Mrs Beeck House was selected for the Seventh Annual House Tour, Living with Art and Architecture by the Neuberger Museum of Art on June 4, 2001.
